TAROM will resume domestic flights in Romania, from May 18, 2020

With the establishment of the state of emergency in Romania, TAROM suspended all domestic flights to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. As of March 25, 2020, TAROM planes have not flown on routes in Romania.

But we have some optimistic news from Romania's national carrier. According to the reservation system, TAROM will resume internet flights from May 18, 2020. It will fly from Bucharest to Cluj, Timisoara, Iasi. Airline tickets can already be booked on the TAROM website.

Bucharest - Cluj flight schedule starting with May 18, 2020

Daily flights will be operated with Airbus A318 aircraft. Rates start at 40 euros / segment.

Bucharest - Timisoara flight schedule starting with May 18, 2020

Daily flights will be operated with Airbus A318 aircraft. Rates start at 35 euros / segment.

Daily flights will be operated with ATR 72-600 aircraft. Rates start at 40 euros / segment.

For starters, there will be 3 weekly flights, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. It will fly with ATR 72-600 aircraft. Rates start at 30 euros / segment.

Gradually, TAROM will resume the other domestic flights, as follows: Baia Mare (from May 22); Suceava (from May 20); Satu Mare (from 21 May), Sibiu (from July 3).

Check the travel conditions. You must also take into account the fact that these flights can be canceled at any time, depending on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic and government decisions.
