Starting with 14 April 2014, Ten Airways (formerly Jetran Air) will operate domestic and international flights for NECESSAIR CONSULTING SRL, under the brand Fly Romania (registered trademark NECESSAIR CONSULTING SRL).

The Romanian airline intends to fly to different destinations in Romania, Italy, Spain and Germany. As I announced, the routes will be open from April 18 Tulcea - Milan (Bergamo) and Bucharest - Tulcea. The flights will be operated with MD-80 Ten Airways aircraft on the Bucharest-Tulcea-Milan-Tulcea-Bucharest route. The fare on the Bucharest-Tulcea route will start from 104 EUR round trip.

Below is the operational program announced on flyromania.com:

The rates seem low-cost, but will include free cabin baggage with a maximum weight of 7Kg and dimensions 55 x 40 x 20 cm (length x width x height) and a hold baggage of 20 by KG. On-board catering services are included on all aircraft.

There are still many unknowns about this operational program, but also about the company and services. I am skeptical in this case, but hopefully things will evolve according to the schedule and we will have no surprises. Does anyone know more about this company, about these flights, plans for the future? We'll come back with information.
