On 31 March 2013, Thai Airways introduced the Airbus A380 aircraft on the route Bangkok - Paris, being the third destination served by superjumbo after Frankfurt and Tokyo-Narita.

Thai Airways will operate the route Bangkok - Paris daily with Airbus A380, being a much more efficient solution to the weekly 10 flights operated by Boeing 777-300ER.
