Thai Airways flies with A380 on the Bangkok - Paris route (video)
On 31 March 2013, Thai Airways introduced Airbus A380 on the Bangkok - Paris route, being the third destination served by superjumbo after Frankfurt and Tokyo-Narita.
Thai Airways will operate the route Bangkok - Paris daily with Airbus A380, being a much more efficient solution to the weekly 10 flights operated by Boeing 777-300ER.
Flight TG931 took off from Bangkok at 0: 05 and landed in Paris at 7: 05. Return flight TG930 took off at 13: 40 and arrived in Bangkok the next day, at 5: 55. Thai Airways has only one competitor on the route and we are talking about Air France here.
Thai Airways received 4 from the 6 A380 aircraft ordered. They are configured in 3 classes, with a total of 507 passengers. The other two A380 are expected to join the Thai fleet later this year. The planes will enter the route Bangkok - London Heathrow.
