On November 11, 2022, over a hundred thousand spectators were present at the opening of the Craiova Christmas Fair. The Craiova Christmas Market will remain open until January 8, 2023.

Andra, Inna, Carla's Dreams, Irina Rimes, Nicole Cherry and many other artists performed an incendiary show in Craiova, at the awarding of the Romanian music awards. Organized by the Oltenia Philharmonic, with the support of Craiova City Hall, The Artist Awards took place on Friday, November 11, from 17.00:XNUMX p.m., on AI Cuza street, at English Park. The magic of the holidays can already be felt in the Old Center and Mihai Viteazul Square in Craiova. Unique story houses, a 20-meter-high Christmas tree, over a million lights and luminous figurines, but also a 700-square-meter ice rink are ready to welcome guests every day. The Christmas market in Craiova takes place this year in five areas: Mihai Viteazul Square, the Old Center, the National Theater esplanade, the Doljana area, the St. Dumitru Cathedral Park.

Visitors have the opportunity to buy all kinds of products specific to the season, from the more than 70 traders in Craiova and all over the country: traditional food, jumars, cheeses, mulled wine, muffins, doughnuts, waffles, burgers, churros, stroh, gingerbread, handmade decorations and gifts, globes, crowns, etc.

For the first time, a panoramic wheel will be placed on the esplanade of the National Theatre, where almost 20 trucks from all over the country (Prepelițescu, Chef Munti, Red, The Mobile Lab, Blend, Pleșkavița, etc.) will be present throughout the fair. And, also for the first time, the residents of Craiovița will have special arrangements for the holidays, with houses, festive lighting, a Christmas tree and a train, in the area of ​​the esplanade, from Racheta.
