Thus, Iasi Airport registered an increase in passenger traffic of almost 20% compared to the previous year. The dynamics of the flow of passengers is also expected to be rising for the year 2015 - even if the number of destinations would remain the same.

"We are very concerned about the priority opening of routes required by the business environment such as destinations in Germany (Munich, Koln, Frankfurt), France (Paris), Holland (Amsterdam). Iasi Airport has already managed to schedule important meetings in 2015 to discuss the details and to respond to specific information requests regarding the possibility of opening new routes in the coming years.
The years 2014 and 2015 will remain in the history of Iasi Airport, but also of our community as the reference years and the starting point of the sustainable development of Iaşi and of the whole region. The completion of the runway, the expansion of the aircraft parking platform and the erection of the new terminal are investments that have not been and are not a target in themselves. These represent the means by which our community can develop, they are successful which will make our future plans to take shape, to materialize ”, declared Mr. Marius BODEA, President of the Board of Directors of Iasi Airport.

We remind you that in the first part of 2015 there will be a total of 8 (eight) external destinations for passengers in the area of Moldova: to Italy 5 (five) destinations - Rome, Bologna, Turin, Milan (Bergamo), Venice (Treviso); to Austria - Vienna; to Israel - Tel Aviv; to Great Britain - London
All these destinations are operated by 3 (three) partner airlines of Iasi Airport: TAROM, Austrian Airlines and Wizz Air.
