The ASUS ROG Flow X13 convertible laptop equipped with the XG Mobile external graphics station has arrived in Romania
The new ROG Flow X13 convertible gaming laptop, recently presented at the Consumer Electronics Show 2021, is available on the Romanian market. ROG Flow X13 is a cutting-edge model that sets new standards for mobile performance.
The laptop can be turned into a tablet thanks to the double hinge it is equipped with and can be attached to an external graphics station via a special connector. Flow X13 is thin and light, with a thickness of only 15,8 mm and a weight of 1,3 kg.
ASUS ROG Flow X13 - hardware details
Flow X13 can be equipped with upgraded processors up to the AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS with eight cores and dedicated GeForce GTX 1650 graphics.
Choosing between two 16:10 screen options offers either a 120Hz refresh rate or an Ultra HD 4K resolution with richer details. On both displays, Adaptive-Sync synchronizes the panel refresh rate with the video accelerator refresh rate to reduce latency, minimize shake, and eliminate frame breakage.
The LPDDR4X-4266 RAM can go up to 32 GB and takes up 46% less space on the motherboard, thanks to smaller chips and simplified paths. A PCIe SSD offers high performance and a capacity of up to 1 TB, providing users with ample storage space for games and professional portfolios. An integrated 280 W power adapter simultaneously powers the XG Mobile and the laptop, so users don't have to carry another bulky power supply.
ROG XG Mobile external graphics station
Along with this configuration, users can connect the ROG XG Mobile external graphics station. Weighing only 1 kg and measuring 155 x 208 x 29 mm, XG Mobile is 6% the size of a typical eGPU, despite having a GeForce RTX 3080 graphics accelerator, clocked at 1810 MHz, at 150 W with ROG Boost.
XG Mobile connects directly to the CPU with a custom PCIe 3.0 x8 interface, which is faster than Thunderbolt 4. The graphics-only 63Gbps bandwidth interface generates significantly higher performance than eGPU alternatives.
A separate USB 3.2 Gen 2 connection adds 10 Gbps for I / O only and both have a 41 cm cable. The USB connection dominates the XG Mobile's multi-port hub, which has four USB Type A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a large SD card slot and a Gigabit Ethernet port.

ROG Flow X13 is available in Romania both individually and in the bundle configurations below, at prices starting from approx. 5999 lei (taxes included) for the version without eGPU and from approx. 15999 lei (taxes included) for the package with ROG XG Mobile (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080).
