The first Airbus A220 Delta Air Lines was painted (Video)

Last day, the first Airbus A220-100 Delta Air Lines was presented at Bombardier Base in Mirabel, Quebec. It was painted in the classic Delta livery.

On September 14 2018, Delta Air Lines unveiled the first Airbus A220-100 (indicative N101DU) painted in the company's livery. The event took place at Bombardier Base in Mirabel, Quebec.

The dyeing process lasted 9 days, during which time 200 of paper tape rollers and 165 of paint gallons were used. After painting, the aircraft will enter the final stage of assembly and equipment at Mirabel. The first test flight and delivery are to operate.

The first Airbus A220 Delta Air Lines

The first Airbus A220-100 Delta Air Lines is scheduled to enter commercial service at the beginning of 2019. Delta will be the first American airline with Airbus A220 in the fleet. Delta Air lines has placed an order for 75 of Airbus A220-100 aircraft. The aircraft will be configured in 3 classes: 12 seats at First Class, 15 seats at Economy Class, 82 seats at Economy Class.
