The first Airbus A321neo Wizz Air was delivered from the Hamburg base
On 7 March 2019, Airbus delivered the first Airbus A321neo Wizz Air (HA-LVA). The delivery ceremony took place at the Airbus base in Hamburg. The aircraft is part of an 256 order of aircraft.
The new generation of Airbus A321neo aircraft is powered by two Pratt & Whitney GTF engines. It offers the largest single-aisle cabin, with 239 seats in a single-class configuration. It offers maximum flexibility, fuel efficiency and low operating costs.
The first Airbus A321neo Wizz Air
Throughout Europe, Wizz Air operates a fleet of 108 Airbus A321 and A320 aircraft. With an order of 5 A321ceo and 256 A321neo and A320neo flight aircraft, Wizz Air is the largest Aibus customer in the world for this type of aircraft.

The A320neo aircraft and its family members are pioneers and have incorporated the latest technologies in the field, including new generation engines.
As well as the industry-leading cabin design, which offers 20% fuel cost savings. A321neo also offers significant environmental benefits by reducing the noise produced by almost 50% compared to previous generation aircraft.
Since its inception in the first part of 2016, the Pratt and Whitney GTF have demonstrated their promised ability to reduce 16% fuel consumption and 50% nitrogen oxide emissions.
