At the Paris Air Show 2019, the first Airbus A330neo AirAsia was presented. The aircraft will be delivered shortly through Avolon, the leasing company.

The first Airbus A330neo AirAsia will be used by AirAsia X Thailand, part of AirAsia Group. The presentation ceremony was attended by: Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz, AirAsia X Malaysia Chairman; Nadda Buranasiri, AirAsia X Group CEO; Christian Scherer, Airbus Chief Commercial Officer; Domhnal Slattery, Avolon Chief Executive Officer and Chris Cholerton, Rolls-Royce President Civil Aerospace.

With the reception of the A330neo aircraft, AirAsia X will be able to fly directly between Southeast Asia and Europe. Finally, let's hope we see AirAsia X to destinations on the Old Continent.

The first Airbus A330-900 Thai AirAsia X is configured in 2 classes and can carry 377 passengers. There are 12 seats in Business Class and 365 seats in Economy Class.

Airbus Airbus A330neo AirAsia will be exhibited statically at the Paris Air Show during the 17-19 June 2019. It can be visited within the 9: 00-10: 00 time range.

AirAsia X operates 36 of A330-300 aircraft. It is the largest customer for the A330neo model with 66 of ordered aircraft. In addition, AirAsia X will lease two A330neo aircraft from Avolon.
