The first Airbus A330neo Delta Air Lines operated the first test flight

On 7 May 2019, the first Airbus A330neo Delta Air Lines successfully operated the first test flight. The aircraft is part of an order of 35 units and will be delivered within a few weeks.

We are talking about the Airbus A330-900, the largest A330neo family aircraft. The widebody aircraft is powered by 2 Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines.

A330neo Delta Air Lines aircraft are configured in 4 classes and can carry 281 passengers. Offers 29 First Class seats, 28 Business Class seats, 56 Premium Economy seats and 168 Economy seats.

The new A330neo airplanes come with packages for airlines and passengers. It offers more space for passengers, the luggage compartments are larger and the seats are more comfortable. At the same time, the operating cost / passenger is lower than the competing models.

The A330neo is an efficient aircraft, with fuel consumption lower by 25% compared to previous models. It is equipped with the latest technology in aerodynamics.
