First Airbus A340-300 Air Belgium

Also last week, Air Belgium presented the first Airbus A340-300 (ex-Finnair) in its colors. This is the aircraft registered OO-ABA. She is 10.9 years old and was delivered on 2 March. The aircraft flew for 9 years in the Finnair carrier fleet. It is configured to carry 257 passengers.

The second Airbus A340-300, registered OO-ABB, was delivered on 1 in March and expected to be painted in the colors of Air Belgium. For starters, the new Belgian carrier will have 4 such aircraft, which have flown for Finnair.

The first route Brussels - Hong Kong

Air Belgium will operate the first flights on the route Brussels - Hong Kong, starting in mid-April. There will be 4 flights a week.

To begin with, Air Belgium will focus on the Chinese market. It will operate long-haul flights and will seek to work with various air carriers for short and medium flights.
