On 20 October 2017, the first Airbus A350 XWB (3B-NBP) Air Mauritius was delivered. This opens a new chapter for the Indian Ocean carrier. The aircraft, which is leased from AerCap, was delivered during a ceremony organized in Mauritius.
The first A350 XWB Air Mauritius is configured in 2 classes and can carry up to 326 seats: 28 seats in Business and 298 seats in Economy. The aircraft comes equipped with the latest Air Mauritius seats, but also with the latest entertainment system.

This Airbus A350-900 is the first of six Air Mauritius orders. Four will be purchased directly from Airbus and two will be rented from AerCap. Air Mauritius will introduce A350-900 aircraft on flights from Mauritius to Asia, Africa and Europe.
Air Mauritius already operates a fleet of 10 Airbus aircraft, including six A340-300, two A330-200 and two A319. They are used on regional and long-haul routes.
Returning to the first Airbus A350-900 Air Mauritius, I would like to point out that it is painted in a "50 year anniversary" livery.
