The first Boeing 737-800 Avelo Airlines was painted

Avelo Airlines' first Boeing 737 was spotted at Indianapolis International Airport. The Boeing 737-800 aircraft was painted in the new Avelo livery, in white and blue, with the airline's tricolor logo painted on the tail and on the tips of the wings.

In January, the owner of the airline, Andrew Levy, filed the documents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to patent a new airline called Houston Air Holdings AVELO AIRLINES. The former president of Allegiant Air and later the financial director of United Airlines is looking to create a low-cost airline similar to Allegiant Air.


Avelo Airlines will start service with 2 Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The new airline will start service with 2 Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a capacity of 189 seats and one class. The aircraft were leased from General Electric GECAS.

Avelo Airlines wants to offer:

  • Extremely low rates
  • reliability
  • Flights operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft

According to, Avelo Airlines' first aircraft is a 737-year-old Boeing 800-15 that was previously used by Turkish Airlines.
