One day late, the first Boeing 787-10 KLM arrived in Amsterdam. It is named "Orange Blossom" and carries the anniversary livery KLM100.

The Boeing 787-10 KLM aircraft departed from Boeing Base in Charleston, United States with a delay of approximately 24 hours. Initially, the first 787-10 KLM was expected in Amsterdam on 29 June 2019.

June 29 was not chosen by chance. KLM has launched the 100 year anniversary series, with 100 days before the anniversary date. On October 7, KLM will celebrate the centenary, being one of the oldest airlines in the world.

Boeing 787-10 KLM is configured in 3 fare classes and can carry up to 344 passengers. The new 787-10 aircraft will gradually replace the old 747-400 aircraft.
