The first Boeing 787-9 Turkish Airlines was delivered (video)
On June 25, 2019, the first Boeing 787-9 Turkish Airlines (TC-LLA) was delivered. It is part of an order of 30 787 Dreamliner aircraft (25 farms + 5 optional). These will be delivered between 2019 and 2023.
Turkish Airlines will introduce the new 787-9 Dreamliner on long-haul flights on its network. We remind you that Turkish Airlines has the largest operational network, flying to 311 destinations from 124 countries.

The first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will operate the first commercial flight on July 8, on the Istanbul - Antalya route. And the first international commercial flight will be operated on July 17, on the route Istanbul - Denpasar (Bali). It will gradually fly to other destinations, such as: London, Dubai, Washington DC, New York, Atlanta, Mexico City, Cancun, Amsterdam, Delhi, Panama and Bogota.
By the end of August, 6 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft will arrive in the Turkish Airlines fleet. A new chapter begins in the development and modernization of the Turkish carrier fleet.
