The first wing for the A350 XWB arrived in Toulouse

Airbus has begun component testing and assembly of the first A350 XWB aircraft. At the factory in Toulouse came the front fuselage, at which was also started the electrical installation for ground tests, and the first wing.

This wing will be subjected to ground tests to be approved. The wings for the A350 XWB will be manufactured in Broughton (UK). The A350 XWB wings have a length of 32 meters and a width of 6 meters, making them the largest pieces of civil aviation made of composite materials and carbon fiber.

The Trent XWB engine passed the tests with great success!
