Today, June 29, the CNSU meeting took place, chaired by Prime Minister Ludovic Orban, at the end of which decision number 32 was adopted.

Among the most important measures in the CNSU decision is the proposal to establish the complementary sanction of suspension of the operating license for the organizers of activities and events, if in these events the health safety rules are not observed.

By the same Decision, proposals were also adopted to amend some measures regarding the organization of sports competitions and other types of activities.

DECISION no. 32 from 29.06.2020

Also, CNSU has decided to maintain the list of states in the "green zone", for which there is no longer the obligation of isolation at home for citizens coming to Romania from those countries, approved by Decisions numbers 29 and 31. The green list can also be consulted on the INSP Romania website. The list remains valid until a unitary criterion is established at the level of the European Union.

These countries are: Italy, France, Ireland, Estonia, Finland, Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Croatia, Switzerland, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Hungary.

The measures proposed and approved in the CNSU meeting are based on the recommendations of the specialists from the Technical-Scientific Support Group and will have applicability starting with July 1, 2020.

I'm a little confused. Various airlines are offering flights from London to Iasi in early July. But I have not seen any publication that would say that the flights between Great Britain and Romania are reopening. So can I return with these flights, provided I isolate myself? Or are the offers purely speculative? Thank you

    1. Sorin Rusi says

The companies sell tickets in accordance with the existing law in certain stages. If next week the UK enters the green list, flights are operated. If not, no. And from our estimates, there will be no frequent flights UK - Romania. Better take tickets on a special TAROM flight

    2. Nasty says

At Tarom we have the tickets bought, but for the time being the flights are postponed.

  2. Nasty says

We would like to go to France in July, do we have a chance?

    1. Sorin Rusi says

France is currently on the green list… So it could be!

  3. Alex says

"The list shall remain valid until a uniform criterion is established at European Union level." Does that mean there is still a chance that something will change today? As far as I know, the European Commission's discussions on what is happening since July 1 are being finalized, rules that I suspect Romania wants to apply as well, and that's why they didn't change the list yesterday?
I have a ticket for July 2 Spain - Romania with Wizz and the flight seems to be still confirmed ..

    1. Sorin Rusi says

The idea is that the EU does not establish a unitary criterion, at least not at the level of obligation within the EU. So this list will probably stay that way for a while…

  4. Raz says

I live in Denmark and to avoid isolation at home in Romania I was thinking of staying two weeks on vacation in Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Do you know where I might be interested in this option and whether in this way I avoid isolation at home?

  5. Alin says

I don't understand why you can fly to France and Italy but not to Spain. I see it as normal for the flight to take place and for those who do not want to be in isolation, to pay for a test upon entering Romania. It is absurd to be able to go with a car in Romania but not by plane.

    1. Sorin Rusi says

Ask the rulers, the law enforcement. We don't understand either
