The modernization of the airport in Sibiu is in a straight line. The financing contract was signed on Friday, 17.06.2022, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, and on 22.06.2022, at the headquarters of the Sibiu County Council, was signed the contract for design and execution of works for the objective "Modernization and development of airport infrastructure - activities economic ”, Phase I. The total value of the project is 272.493.421,67 lei.

Modernization of the airport in Sibiu

The terminal will have a built area of ​​22.400 square meters, with a total processing capacity of approximately 2,5 million passengers, 6 security filters, 7 vending machines for self-check-in, 10 check-in counters with operator, one of which serves VIP flow, 7 boarding gates, as well as other facilities necessary for international and extra-community international air traffic, plus public spaces for commercial and utilitarian use.

The project will be carried out by the association of three strong companies with extensive experience:

  • ✅ BOG'Art SRL [ASSOCIATE]
  • ✅ UTI CONSTRUCTION AND FACILITY MANAGEMENT SA [ASSOCIATED]

The deadline for completion of construction is December 31, 2023
