When I started to discover the beauties of the world, I created a bucketlist, a list that contains all the cities and tourist attractions in the world that I want to visit in this life. These spectacular waterfalls are also on the bucketlist.

In the mountainous part of Croatia is the Plitvice National Park. The reservation is a protected area that covers 296 square kilometers. The relief is varied - rocks, forests, lakes, rivers, waterfalls and underground caves, and since 1979, the park has been added to the list of UNESCO protected sites.

In the national park we find two of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world: Veliki Slap (78 meters high) and Galovacki Buk (25 meters high). The area has a historical significance and is currently one of the most important tourist attractions in Croatia.

The waterfalls are 11 meters high and are easily accessible from the park trails. It is the second most popular waterfall in the park. From the main route to Elakala Park there is a bridge over the first waterfall which offers a wonderful panoramic view.
