The new generation of A330neo aircraft comes to complement the wide range of Airbus products, which can carry from 140 to 550 of passengers. It starts with the A320neo family (A320neo, A320neo and A321neo), continues with A330neo (A330-800 and A330-900), A350 XWB (A350-900 and A350-XXUM).

A330neo aircraft are powered by high-power Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines. The planes have a larger wingspan, which are also provided with Sharklets. It incorporates the Airspace cabin, plus common elements with the A350 XWB.
