New entry and travel conditions in the Czech Republic. Romania, on the red list from August 3.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the Prague authorities have revised the conditions for entry into the Czech Republic. Depending on the country of origin, they are classified into two categories: green (low risk of infection) and red (high risk of infection).

Romania will be included, starting with August 3, 2020, at 00:00, on the red list. The classification of states in the two categories is subject to a permanent reassessment, based on the evolution of the epidemiological situation in each state.
New entry and travel conditions in the Czech Republic
Thus, according to the information provided by the Czech authorities, persons traveling from Romania to the Czech Republic may enter Czech territory without justifying the purpose of the journey. However, they must notify their arrival, by telephone or by other means of communication, to the Public Health Directorate within whose area the declared place of residence is located (hotel, dwelling). At the same time, he must undergo, at his own expense, the test for COVID-19, in case the public health authority has not ordered other quarantine measures.
Also, all persons who have lived for more than 12 hours in the last 14 days in Romania must notify their presence to the health authorities, immediately after entering the territory of the Czech Republic, and subsequently present to the Public Health Directorate within which find out the place of residence declared a molecular test for COVID-19 infection.
These measures do not apply to the following categories of persons:
- international transport staff, if the reason for entry is justified by appropriate documents;
- citizens of EU Member States and foreigners holding a long-term or permanent residence permit in an EU Member State transiting the Czech Republic within 12 hours.
Transit is allowed under the following conditions:
- Romanian citizens transiting the Czech Republic by air must not comply with special measures, provided that they do not leave the transit area at the airport;
- Romanian citizens transiting the Czech Republic by road are not subject to any conditions or obligations, if the duration of the transit does not exceed 12 hours.
