The December 1, 2022 Bucharest parade: over 1500 soldiers and 40 aircraft will participate in the Romanian National Day parade!

On Romania's National Day, 1.500 soldiers, including members of the NATO battle group and those of the 101st Airborne Division, will pass under the Arc de Triomphe. The event will not be missing the fighter or transport planes of the Romanian Air Force, but also of the allies.

On December 1, Romania's National Day, 150 foreign soldiers from the forces stationed in Romania will also parade. For the first time, soldiers from the Cincu NATO Battle Group and the famous fighters from the 101st Airborne Division stationed at Mihail Kogălniceanu will pass under the Arc de Triomphe.

On the occasion of the celebration of the National Day of Romania, between November 24 and December 1, 2022, combat aircraft, transport aircraft and helicopters of the Romanian Air Force perform training flights, at low altitudes (approximately 300 m above the ground), in Ilfov county and the municipality of Bucharest, having as its objective the Arcului de Triumf Square, but also in other localities in the country.

More than 40 military aircraft will evolve

During the Military Parade, more than 40 F-16 Fighting Falcon, C-130 military aircraft will perform Hercules, C-27J Spartan, IAR-330, IAR-99 belonging to the Romanian Air Force, F-18 Hornet type aircraft of the Spanish Air Force,

CF-188 Hornet aircraft belonging to the Canadian Air Force, Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft belonging to the Italian Air Force, Chinook and AH-64 Apache helicopters belonging to the United States Ground Forces, EC-135 helicopters belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, IAR- 330 Pumas of the Romanian Intelligence Service as well as Extra 300 aircraft belonging to the Romanian Aeroclub.

At the same time, on the occasion of the National Day of Romania, the following localities will be flown over by military aircraft: Sinaia, Constanța, Alba Iulia, Mediaș, Câmpia Turzii, Turda, Cluj-Napoca, Șimleu Silvaniei, Ungheni, Sighișoara, Zalău, Târgu Jiu, Fetești , Slobozia, Călărași, Buzău, Bacău and Iași.

The flight of the aircraft will be carried out in compliance with the aeronautical regulations in force and all the necessary safety measures will be taken, so that the impact on the local community is minimal.
