The alert status is extended in Romania by 30 days, according to decision no. 38 of June 9, 2021.

The National Committee for Emergency Situations adopted in today's meeting, 9.06.2021, Decision number 38. By this Decision, CNSU proposed the extension of the alert status on the territory of Romania by another 30 days. The same Decision also proposed amendments to some measures adopted to manage the situation created by the SARS-VOC-2 pandemic, as follows:

• Increasing the number of participants in weddings and baptisms up to 200 indoors, if all participants are vaccinated, tested or sick and an area of ​​at least 2 square meters is provided for each person.

• Conducting weddings and baptisms in open spaces with no limit of participants, if an area of ​​at least 2 square meters is provided for each person and all participants are vaccinated, tested or sick.

• Allowing spectators to participate in the sporting event hosted by Romania in the eighth round of the European Football Championship EURO 2020 up to 50% of the maximum capacity of the space, noting that between 25-50% of the capacity of the space can enter only vaccinated people and for 10 days have elapsed since the completion of the complete vaccination schedule or persons vaccinated without a complete schedule, but show a negative result of an RT-PCR test not older than 72 hours for hours.

• Application of the quarantine measure regarding foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving in Romania to participate in football matches within the Final Tournament of the European Football Championship EURO 2020 depending on the classification of the countries / territories from which they arrive in epidemiological risk areas.
