I announced a few days ago that The UK has imposed severe border restrictions on all those who will travel from 15 February. They will all have to stay in solitary confinement for 10 days and take a double test on days 2 and 8 of quarantine.

Those who will travel from the red countries will be in institutionalized quarantine at the hotel, the cost of which is borne by the traveler.

But let's make a brief recap on the travel conditions imposed on those who want to travel from Romania to England:

  • Present the certificate of a negative COVID test (antigen or PCR) performed no more than 3 days before departure; (minors up to 11 years old are excluded);
  • Perform a 10-day quarantine period at an address declared before the journey or on entering England.

All persons traveling to England, whether quarantined at home or at a hotel established by the authorities, are required to perform two more COVID tests during the quarantine period, the first on the 2nd day of arrival, and the second test on the 8th day. The two tests must be booked and paid for before the trip, at a cost of £ 210. Reservations are made here.
