On 14 January, Ryanair announced the opening of the base with the number 78 on the Timisoara International Airport "Traian Vuia". The base, to which Ryanair will allocate an aircraft (an investment of 100 $ Millions), will be operational starting with 1 November 2016.
7 new routes will be operated from Banat airport, having as destinations: Berlin, Brussels Charleroi, Dusseldorf Weeze, Frankfurt Hahn, London Stansted, Milan Bergamo, but also a new route to Bucharest with a frequency of two flights per day.

As you can see, the morning flight is operated by an aircraft from Timisoara, and the evening flight by an aircraft from Bucharest. It's a matter of time before Ryanair will announce the base in Bucharest and probably other surprises.
