Air Canada International expansion continues and announces new destinations. Starting with 3 November 2015, Air Canada will operate 3 weekly flights on the route Toronto - Dubai. It is the first destination in the Middle East and one of the few routes connecting North America to the United Arab Emirates.

Introducing the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner into the Air Canada fleet in 2014, it has been a catalyst for international expansion plans. An additional boost will be received in the 2015, with the introduction of larger aircraft of the type Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Tickets for Toronto - Dubai have been on sale since December 16, 2014, and the route will be inaugurated on November 3, 2015. The 3 weekly flights will be operated by aircraft Boeing 787 Dreamliner configured in 3 classes. 787-8 aircraft can carry up to 251 passengers: 20 seats at International Business Class, 21 seats at Air Canada Premium Economy and 210 seats at Air Canada Economy. 787-9 aircraft can carry up to 298 passengers: 30 seats at International Business Class, 21 seats at Air Canada Premium Economy and 247 seats at Air Canada Economy.

Thursday and Saturday and return flights will be operated with the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, except Tuesday's flight, which will be operated with the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

Starting December 2014, Air Canada has announced flights to Delhi, Amsterdam, Rio de Janeiro, Osaka, Tokyo-Haneda and Panama City, including Dubai. With the opening of these routes, Air Canada will operate flights to 66 from international destinations on five continents from the Toronto hub.
