Citizens over the age of 13 who intend to travel by air, rail, sea or bus to the Kingdom of the Netherlands are required to submit a negative molecular test result for SARS-CoV infection. -2.

• be a molecular test type NAAT (PCR, RT PCR, LAMP, TMA or mPOCT);
• be issued in one of the following languages: English, German, French, Spanish or Dutch;
• include the name and surname of the traveler, in accordance with the data in the passport;
• contain details about the laboratory that performed the test, as well as the date of its performance.
If the test result is older than 12 hours before boarding, but not more than 72 hours, then citizens must also present a rapid test (antigen or LAMP - loop-mediated isothermal amplification), performed with a maximum of 4 hours before boarding.
At this time, upon arrival in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, persons moving from states in the red or orange zone (Romania is included in the orange zone) are strongly recommended to self-isolate for a period of 10 days from the entry into the territory of this state. . You can get out of isolation before the 10-day deadline, if a PCR test is performed on the fifth day, and the result is negative.

Transit through the Netherlands:
- Airport transit is possible provided a negative result of a PCR-type molecular test for SARS-CoV-2 virus infection and a rapid test (for people arriving from high-risk areas, including Romania). If the PCR test is not older than 12 hours, it is sufficient to transit through Dutch territory without the need for a rapid test. Persons must remain in the transit area of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, ensure that they have a valid flight ticket and travel documents to prove that they are in transit and leave the airport within a maximum of 48 hours.
