Turkish Airlines on 2017

The best month of the year was December, when the average load level reached the 79,7% threshold, the highest in the airline's history. On international flights, the average aircraft loading rate increased to 78,4%.

Compared to the activity of the past, Turkish Airlines is proud of a significant growth. The average load is acceptable, but it can be even better.

2018 is announcing an exciting year. Turkish Airlines will move its base to Istanbul's 3 airport. This is Istanbul New Airport, which is scheduled to open on 29 October 2018.

For 2018, the main target of the Turkish Airlines operator is to carry 74 millions of passengers: 33 millions on domestic routes, 41 millions on international routes. Related to the average degree of loading of aircraft (LF), it must be in the range 79% -80%, but with potential for growth. It will launch new routes and increase frequencies on many other existing routes.

It is an ambitious plan, but not difficult to achieve. Turkish Airlines operates a fleet of 328 aircraft, of which 18 are cargo. Fly to 302 destinations from 120 countries, from 6 continents.
