Turkish Airlines inaugurated the flights to Constanţa, the destination with the number 231
Here, after several delays, Turkish Airlines has launched flights to Constanta from June 7 to 2013. This is the destination with the 231 apple from the Turkish network and the second from Romania to which the Turkish operator flies.
Flights on the route Istanbul - Constanta - Istanbul they are operated 3 times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The program is very advantageous for those interested in city breaks in Istanbul.
Below you have the operational program on the Istanbul - Constanta - Istanbul route with Turkish Airlines:
TK1049 - Wednesday, Friday, Sunday - Istanbul 13: 05 - Constanta 14: 15
TK1050 - Wednesday, Friday, Sunday - Constanta 15: 15 - Istanbul 16: 25
Tickets on this route are available at promotional rates starting at 99 EUR, with all taxes included. The flights are honored with Airbus A319 aircraft.
This route I do not think will bring Turkish tourists on the Romanian coast, but in Dobrogea there are many Turkish and Tatar communities, and the route I think is more open to them. Plus, it is an opportunity for all Romanians in Dobrogea to get to Istanbul and from here to other destinations operated by Turkish Airlines faster and cheaper.
In addition to the ones mentioned above, I am pleased that Mihail Kogalniceanu airport, this gateway to the Romanian coast, is starting to have regular routes. Still a mystery to me why this airport is not being used to its full potential, at least in the summer season.
