Turkish Airlines announces the steps to be taken to recover money on canceled flights!
Following technical problems, Turkish Airlines' computer systems crashed and hundreds of flights were canceled on the evening of November 1. Millions of passengers were affected not only because they could not fly to their final destination, but also because they could not receive accommodation, meals and transportation services related to the canceled flights.
In this context, Turkish Airlines announces how passengers can recover their money and compensation! Please note that flights have resumed!
Due to the technical interruption of our systems, all Turkish Airlines and AnadoluJet passengers registered for our flights between 01 November 2023 and 02 November 2023 (Inclusive), for tickets issued up to 01 November 2023, are entitled to the following rights, provided they have the transaction completed by 07 November 2023 (inclusive):
1) Changes to the reservation will be made free of charge. The no-show penalty will not be charged to our passengers who have not yet taken action, even if the flight time has passed.
2) Requests for reimbursement:
a) Unused tickets will be refunded in full, without any deduction.
b) For tickets that were partially used and the trip was not completed; Refunds for unused flights will be made without any deduction.
3) The relevant practices will only be valid for passengers registered on flights operated by Turkish Airlines or AnadoluJet.
All changes can be made via Turkish Airlines official website, mobile applications or through the sales agencies where the ticket was issued.
