Update May 21, 2020: Turkish Airlines has suspended domestic flights until June 4, and international flights were suspended until June 10.

Initial story: We are all waiting for the flights to resume. We want to travel, to enjoy freedom, to discover new dream places. The COVID-19 pandemic has tested our patience and may have made us more responsible in our future escapades.

Certainly post-COVID-19 travel will no longer be the same. As a matter of fact, the number of flights will not be the same either. As for the price of plane tickets, we do not expect them to be cheap. But time will tell.

Turkish Airlines will resume flights

In today's article we inform you that Turkish Airlines will resume flights starting in June. All domestic routes will be operated from June, but at 60% of the total flight volume. The same cannot be said of international flights.

Turkish Airlines has drawn up a flight plan for June, July and August, sources told Anadolu. International flights will be resumed gradually. It will start with flights to 22 destinations in 19 countries, including Canada, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Japan, China, South Korea, Singapore, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Norway, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Belarus, Israel, Kuwait, Georgia and Lebanon. 75 weekly flights will be operated.

In July, Turkish Airlines plans to fly to 103 international destinations and operate 572 flights a week. As of August, the number of destinations will increase to 160, and the number of weekly flights to 937.

Related to Bucharest - Istanbul flights, they appear in the Turkish Airlines reservation system starting with May 28, 2020. It's just that we can't confirm that they will be operated on. It appears to be the pre-COVID-19 operational plan. In addition, it is clear that Turkish Airlines would start operations in June. So we expect operational changes.

CAREFUL!!! Don't rush into buying tickets until we see government decisions for the period after May 28.
