Two new destinations for Airbus A380 Emirates: Dusseldorf and Madrid
On 28 January 2015, Emirates announced that it will extend Airbus A380 services to two new destinations in Europe: Dusseldorf and Madrid. Thus, Emirates will be the first airline to fly super jumbo to the two airports.
At the same time, by introducing the two new destinations, the number of European airports served by Emirates with A380 will reach 13. Currently, Emirates flies with A380 to 11 airports in Europe: London Heathrow, Paris, Manchester, Rome, Munich, Amsterdam, Zurich, Barcelona, London Gatwick, Frankfurt, Milan.
Emirates is the largest airline operator for Airbus A380. Currently, it has 58 fleet of aircraft, all in operational service, and 82 unit command. Airbus A380 Emirates aircraft fly to 34 from destinations worldwide.
