Uganda Airlines, with Airbus A330neo to London Heathrow

According to the announcement made by Uganda Airlines, 5 weekly flights will be operated on the route Entebbe - London. According to traffic reports issued by anna.aero, over 84.000 passengers flew between Entebbe and London in 2019, back and forth, which highlights the potential of this route.

On this route, Uganda Airlines will not have a direct competitor. British Airways operated Entebbe-London flights, but gave up in 2015 because "it is not commercially viable to continue flights".

But indirectly, there are many one-stop connections operated by companies such as EgyptAir, Kenya Airways and Turkish Airlines, the flights being operated through the airlines' hubs.

London Heathrow is not the only destination served by Uganda Airlines with Airbus A330neo, with flights to Dubai, Guangzhou and Mumbai.
