The latest Airbus A340-300 Finnair has been withdrawn

On 1 February 2017, Finnair confirmed the operation of the last commercial flight with Airbus A340-300. For 11 years, Finnair had 7 aircraft in the fleet A340-300.

The last withdrawal from the commercial service, Airbus A340-300 (OH-LQE), operated the last flight (AY74) on 31 January 2017, on the route Tokyo Narita-Helsinki Vantaa.

But the "career" of this plane does not stop here. Airbus A340-300 (OH-LQE) (plus other 3 A340 aircraft) will arrive in the new operator's fleet Air Belgium, which will begin operation this summer.

Airbus A340-300 (OH-LQE) is 8.6 years old. The first flight operated on 2 July 2008, and the delivery was made on 31 July 2008. Propulsion is provided by 4 CFM International CFM56-5C4 / P engines.

The plane was configured in 3 classes: 45 seats in Business Class; 40 of seats in Premium Economy and 172 of seats in Economy Class. As it flew in the Finnair fleet, the aircraft was painted in the "oneworld" livery and custom Finnair.
