The last Airbus A380 built will be delivered to Emirates in November 2021
This year, Emirates will receive three more Airbus A380 aircraft, the last of which is scheduled for delivery in November 2021. With this delivery, Airbus stops production of A380 aircraft, and delivery is made seven months earlier than originally scheduled. As I wrote on the site, Airbus abandons the A380 program.
All three A380s will be equipped with Emirates' highly acclaimed Premium Economy cabin, as well as the latest and most modern A380 interiors, including individual seats with a First Class shower, the popular Onboard Lounge, fully flat Business Class seats and the most large screens for customers in all cabins.
Thus, the total Emirates A380 fleet will consist of 118 aircraft, including six of them equipped with Premium Economy seats in a four-class configuration.
As travel restrictions are relaxed with the global vaccination program against COVID-19, Emirates will reintroduce A380 aircraft on many routes departing from Dubai: Amman, Cairo, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Guangzhou, London Heathrow, Los Angeles, Manchester , Mauritius, Moscow, Munich, New York JFK, Paris, Toronto, Vienna, Washington DC and Zurich.
Emirates A380 aircraft configured in four comfortable classes fly to London Heathrow and Paris Charles De Gaulle. The comfortable and luxurious Emirates Premium Economy seats, covered in cream leather, with generous legroom, are currently offered as on-site upgrades for customers, at their discretion. All other Emirates cabins - First, Business and Economy - are available for booking on I emirates.co or through travel agencies.
