A small incident took place yesterday at the airport in Munich. An ATR-72-212A got off the track and stopped with his muzzle in the grass. The aircraft had 58 passengers and 4 crew members on board. Following the incident, a person suffered minor injuries.
The aircraft is operated by Air Dolomiti, a subsidiary of Lufthansa, and operates the Munich - Venice flight with registration number LH1912. Shortly after take-off, the pilot noticed smoke in the cockpit and asked permission to return to Munich airport. Engine problems were later reported.
