A Wizz Air plane made a low pass over Budapest airport in the company of Hungarian Air Force fighter jets

On September 24, 2020, an Airbus A321neo aircraft Wizz Air made a low pass over Budapest airport. It all happened in the company of the Hungarian Air Force fighter jets.

The moment marked the signing of an agreement cooperation between Wizz Air and the Hungarian Armed Forces on the training of pilots and flight attendants.

According to the agreement, the flight crew will receive training at the Wizz Air base in Budapest, and Wizz Air will be allowed to redirect its flights to the Kecskemét air base in central Hungary, in the conditions in which it cannot land in Budapest.
