On the morning of April 25, a Piper PA-31-350 Chieftain landed on a busy street in Calgary, Canada. The small aircraft was heading for the Calgary airport, but lost engine power. Most likely he ran out of fuel.

On the morning of April 25, around 06: 00, a Pi-PA-31-350 Chieftain lost engine power, and the pilots decided to land on Calgary's 36 Street.

There were 6 persons (2 pilots and 4 passengers), who were not injured. The plane was not badly damaged either, it just hit the wing with a pillar on the roadside.

Sgt. Duane Lepchuk said the plane landed around 6 on a street with 2 lanes, about five miles south of the destination airport, not far from the Trans-Canada Highway. The incident is being investigated by officials at the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.
