(Video) Boeing delivered the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner to SAUDIA
On 2 February 2016, Boeing and Saud, the national company of Saudi Arabia, celebrated a triple delivery: 2 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and a Boeing 777-300ER. The 3 787 Dreamliner will be delivered next week. These are part of an order of 8 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which was placed in 2010.
With this delivery, the company will have 48 Boeing aircraft in its fleet, which includes: 777-200ER, 777-300ER and 747-400. Over the past 55 years, SAUDIA has received over 130 from Boeing aircraft, including 707, 737, MD-11F, DC-9 and MD90.
Since entering service in 2011, 787 Dreamliner aircraft have flown on more than 350 routes and have facilitated the opening of new 75 long-haul routes worldwide.
