The first flight in Concorde history


On 2 March 1969, after several months of ground tests, but also after a few delays due to adverse weather conditions, Concord F-WTSS 001 operated the first flight in history under the command of pilot Andre Turkey. The aircraft took off from Toulouse-Blagnac around 15: 30, and the flight took 29 minutes.
