Austrian Airlines is already preparing for the winter season with a comprehensive tourist offensive. Starting October 24, 2021, the Austrian carrier will take off twice a week to Cancun, in sunny Mexico. The last flight to this holiday destination was in 2006.

Sales Director Michael Trestl is optimistic about the future: "People long for vacations, long-distance and long-distance travel. Therefore, we will focus on attractive long-distance destinations in the winter program to satisfy the desire of our passengers. I am confident that by then many people around the world will be vaccinated, and travel will be possible again without severe restrictions. "
