Volotea is consolidating its transport capacity to / from Sardinia Airport, with over 500.000 seats on sale for the summer of 2021. This translates into an increase of over 100% compared to the summer of 2019.

Following Volotea's new announcement, easyJet and Wizz have each announced plans to expand operations at Olbia Airport. Starting June 28, easyJet will operate daily flights to Bologna (BLQ), Verona (VRN) and Turin (TRN), as well as 3 weekly flights to Bari (BRI). Wizz Air has announced the launch of 4 new routes from Olbia, with destinations Milan Malpensa, Bologna, Treviso and Verona.
