Vueling, the low-cost airline in Spain, and the Japanese giant Sony presented the first "boarding pass that takes you into the world", an application for SmartWatch 2.

The application will allow Vueling passengers to have all the necessary information about wrist flights, as well as the boarding card as a 2D bar code. It will be available in the Google Play Store only for Sony SmartWatch 2.

SmartWatch is a generic term for smart watches, which can often be connected to smartphones and mobile phones.

As of March 10, 2014, Vueling allows the use of gadgets on board its aircraft, in all phases of flight, except for laptops that can be used only after the aircraft reaches the cruising ceiling. Small electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, game consoles, mp3 players, e-readers and, of course, SmartWatch can be used in activated airplane mode, according to the cabin crew's instructions.
