Wizz Air will operate 7 weekly flights on the route Bucharest - Cluj, from the winter season 2016/2017

The battle on Bucharest - Cluj will start this summer, when Blue Air and Wizz Air will launch the flights. Wizz Air will start on 22 July 2016 and announced 6 weekly flights. The flight schedule is not very advantageous, being evening. The motivation was that the schedule is good for students or those who finish the job late in Bucharest and want to get to Cluj and vice versa.

The interesting part comes from the 2016-2017 winter season, which will start on October 29, 2016. Wizz Air changes the flight schedule and introduces the 7th weekly rotation, on Saturday. The new Bucharest - Cluj schedule operated by Wizz Air will be:

W6 3492 Bucharest (OTP) 21: 00 → 21: 55 Cluj-Napoca (CLJ)
W6 3491 Cluj-Napoca (CLJ) 19: 30 → 20: 30 Bucharest (OTP)
