Wizz Air has announced the opening of a training center in Budapest, starting March 2013. The Wizz Air training center will include a complete and modern A320 flight simulator, a representation of cabin facilities and fire training, representing an investment of 15 million for a period of 10 years. The modern equipment will be at the Budapest Airport and will allow Wizz Air to carry out 90% of the crew training in Budapest. The operation of the new training center will create jobs in both the aviation sector and the tourism industry in Budapest.

For this modern training center and flight simulator in Budapest, Wizz Air collaborates with FSC (Flight Simulation Company), a flight training company based in Amsterdam. The partnership ensures that the Wizz Air training center will be operating in Budapest for the next 10 years.

József Váradi, CEO of Wizz Air, said that this summer, there will be 500 pilots and 1000 flight attendants who will be continuously trained. These numbers may double in the next 5-6 years as a result of the Wizz Air expansion.

It is a long-term project that facilitates the creation of new jobs, maybe an additional income for the airline operator. We will try to find out the costs for those interested in making the preparations for this center, individually.
