Starting today, October 19, 2020, Wizz Air will operate regular flights from "George Enescu" International Airport in Bacau. This will be the 11th airport in Romania in the Wizz Air network. At the same time, the base in Bacău will be the 7th in Romania.
The first inaugurated route is London Luton - Bacău. This is part of the development strategy in Bacau. This summer, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Wizz Air has announced its operational base in Bacău and 12 new routes to destinations in Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Cyprus, Denmark, Belgium.
Until October 28, Wizz Air will operate 4 weekly flights on the route London Luton - Bacau, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays. Following this date to switch to 4 weekly frequencies, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays. And from November 15, it will switch to daily flights.
