Starting with 1 June 2020, Wizz Air has reopened its base in Belgrade and began to fly to Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden, Hanover, Memmingen / Munich West, Dortmund (Germany), Malmo, Stockholm Skavsta, Gothenburg Landvetter (Sweden), Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (Switzerland), Eindhoven (Netherlands) and London Luton (UK).

To help passengers and crew travel safely and worry-free, Wizz Air has implemented additional hygiene measures to support physical distance during boarding and increased cleanliness on board.

As part of customer and crew health measures, passengers should check in and shop online, such as paying for additional luggage. The aim is to reduce non-essential interaction at the airport. In an attempt to stop the spread of possible infections, passengers are asked to follow the new rules of physical distance both during embarkation and disembarkation. The mask must be worn on the nose and mouth and is mandatory throughout the flight.

Wizz Air aircraft are equipped with HEPA filters, which can retain up to 99.97% of impurities in the air, including viruses and bacteria. Wizz Air aircraft are disinfected every 24 hours.
