After a hiatus caused by the pandemic with the new coronavirus, London Luton International Airport began to come alive. In the early hours of Friday morning, May 1, 2020, about 100 people arrived in the UK on the Sofia - London Luton flight, operated by Wizz Air.

And on the return flight it was bustling, a sign that people want to travel. According to some publications in Great Britain, the first passengers were not tourists, with seasonal workers. They will reach fruit and vegetable farms in the UK. Others will work on site or in fast food restaurants.

Friday's flights were supposed to be to / from destinations in Romania, but the government in Bucharest issued Military Ordinance 10 and flights to the UK were suspended until 14 May.
