Wizz Air allocates 6 aircraft to Cluj and announces 7 new routes

Wizz Air announced today the significant expansion planned for 2017 in Cluj-Napoca. The sixth aircraft will join the fleet from Cluj-Napoca starting with March 2017, together with the opening of six new interesting routes to five countries - Stockholm (27 March 2017), Bratislava (10 March 2017), Baden-Baden, Frankfurt Hahn, Larnaca (28 March 2017) and Malta (TUESDAY March TUESDAY).

Specifically, Wizz Air will open four new exciting routes to four countries - Stockholm, Bratislava, Larnaca and Malta, as well as adding three temporary routes to Baden-Baden and Frankhurt Hahn (Germany) and Budapest (Hungary), which will be operated. from Cluj while the runway at the Târgu Mureş airport is in progress.

Together with the new routes launched, Wizz Air also announces an increase in frequency on the most popular flights from Cluj-Napoca to Basel (from 2 to 3 weekly flights), Barcelona (5 to 6 weekly flights), Nuremberg (from 2 to 3 weekly flights), Milan Bergamo (6 to 7 weekly flights), Dortmund (from 3 to 4 weekly flights) and London Luton (from 16 to 19 weekly flights).

By demonstrating WIZZ's commitment to its passengers, the company is constantly investing in its operations in Romania. Throughout the year 2016, WIZZ has already announced and will launch 28 new routes connecting our country and the rest of Europe, and in the first part of 2017 other 16 new routes, already announced, will start operating in Romania.

The newest announced routes for passengers in Romania are those from Suceava to Venice Treviso, Bologna and Rome Ciampino, but also those from Craiova to Cologne, Liverpool and Madrid, all starting with March 2017.

    Related to Cluj

    On Cluj Larnaca will rub with the Blue air, and I don't think there is room for both. Blue Air invaded Luton from Cluj. And there are still uncovered destinations in Cluj (weak France, only Paris Beauvais, we are waiting for Marsillia, Lyon), Lisbon / Porto, southern Italy (Naples, Palermo), maybe Tenerife and Athens in season.

    And I still don't understand why Ryanair doesn't come to Cluj…
