A new destination in Bulgaria is added to the Wizz Air network in the UK. The low-cost carrier will serve Plovdiv, the cultural capital of Bulgaria, from Luton Airport.
There will be three flights a week to Bulgaria's second largest city from November 3, with fares starting at £ 17.99 per segment. With the new service, Wizz Air will offer over 80 routes from Luton Airport.
Also from Plovdiv, Wizz Air will operate flights to Dortmund Memmingen - Munich West, Germany.
The carrier has launched more than 35 new routes from the UK in the last 12 months, despite the delay in opening a new base at Cardiff airport. Wizz Air UK CEO Marion Geoffroy said: "We are pleased to announce the addition of another destination to our network at London Luton Airport, the first and largest Wizz Air base in the UK."
